Get to Know Sarah

Sarah is a sweet angel that we are so glad to have as part of our family. One of her defining characteristics is her sincere friendliness and kindness to everyone around her. She is always concerned for other people’s feelings and makes sure everyone is included. She is funny, witty, and always laughing and smiling.

Sarah has always been a performer. She has always loved being the center of attention and would sing and dance in front of friends and family as a child. One time, at the age of about 3, there was a church/community talent show. At the end, the M.C. asked if anyone else had a talent that they’d like to share. Sarah raised her hand. She walked up to the front, took the mic, and sang the Hannah Montana theme song for everyone. Growing up she was a part of a singing and dancing group called Showstoppers and loved performing on the stage. Later, she got into tumbling, gymnastics, and cheerleading. She has been a school cheerleader since 8th grade.

Other hobbies of Sarah’s include playing the piano and singing (she will look up chord charts to a popular song that she likes and sing along while playing), going on trips with friends and family, golfing, and doing things outdoors like camping and fishing. Recently, she has gotten into motorcycle riding. She got her motorcycle endorsement about 3 months prior to her accident and rode around on a red Honda rebel 250 with her dad.

Sarah is dedicated to serving others. She loved her humanitarian trip last November to Mexico where she helped build houses for families in need. One winter during The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints' "Light the World" campaign, she organized a service project for homeless people in Salt Lake City. She got her friends together, put together sack lunches, and delivered them to people throughout the city. She always looks for ways to support the community in service and love.

Sarah also has many goals and aspirations. She wants to get her teaching degree at Utah State University after she graduates from high school and become an elementary school teacher. She also plans to serve a full-time LDS mission after graduation. Most importantly, she wants to get married in the temple and raise a happy family. She is a sweet blessing to us all.

  2. A fun and ambitious young woman! That's not going to change overall, and I am thankful she gets to stay here to do those things! Changed in form and function in some ways, but I think she is still going to do wonderful things! We will keep praying for her. ❤
