Before our last post and the plea for prayers, the doctors were not hopeful that she would keep any of her legs with a possible amputation at the hip. The doctors gave us a two hour window while they watched and waited and her numbers miraculously remained steady. They have decided that they will be able to amputate at the knee. This is exactly the news that we have been hoping for! Since the last post the traffic on social media and this blog have gone through the roof and we know it's because of your faith and prayers that Sarah is going to have more of her legs for the rest of her life.

ReplyDeleteOne heartwarming thing about this tragic accident has been to see how one life can truly touch so many! Truly, she is one loved girl. I know so many kids and parents that were up all night worrying and praying for sweet Sarah. It just goes to show what a difference one kind, sweet girl can make in the world! We will continue to pray!

ReplyDeleteOne of my girls was on a date in the family room and another was just getting home when I told them what we needed to pray for and we all hit our knees then and there to plead for the miracles needed for Sarah.
